အဂၤလိပ္စာ အသုံးအႏႈန္းလုိ႔ ေခါင္းစဥ္တပ္ထားေပမဲ့ အခုတင္ျပခ်က္ေလးကေတာ့ အဂၤလိပ္သတင္းစာမွာ မ်ားေသာအားျဖင့္ သုံးေလ့ရွိၾကတဲ့ စကားလုံးေလးေတြပါ။ သတင္းစာအသုံးအႏႈန္းဆုိရင္လဲ မမွားဘူးေပါ့။

ပထမစာလုံးမဲက သတင္းစာ စကားလုံးပါ။ အဲဒီေနာက္က ပုံမွန္အဂၤလိပ္အသုံးပါ။
သိထားဖုိ႔ေတာ့ လုိတာခ်ည္းပါဘဲ။

axe= cut or remove> ျဖတ္ေတာက္သည္။ ဖယ္ထုတ္သည္။
The TV series will be axed owing to a decline in popularity.
လူႀကိဳက္နည္းလာတဲ့အတြက္ တီဗီထုတ္လြင့္မႈအစီအစဥ္ကုိ ပယ္ဖ်က္လုိက္တယ္။

back= support> ေထာက္ခံသည္။ ေထာက္ပံ့သည္။
The management has refused to back our proposals.
စီမံေရးဌာနက က်ေနာ္တုိ႔ တင္ျပခ်က္ကုိ မေထာက္ခံဘူး။

bar= exclude or forbid> တားျမစ္သည္။
The players are barred from drinking alcohol the night before a match.
ၿပိဳင္ပြဲမတုိင္ခင္ တစ္ညကစၿပီး ကစားသမားေတြကုိ မူးယစ္ေသာက္စားျခင္းမွ တားျမစ္တယ္။

bid= attempt> ႀကိဳးပမ္းသည္။
The team is bidding to retain its place in the league.
အသင္းက ၿပိဳင္ပြဲတစ္ေလ်ာက္ သူ႔ေနရာ ရပ္တည္ႏုိင္ဖုိ႔ ႀကိဳးပမ္းတယ္။

blast= explode> ေဖာက္ခြဲသည္။ ေပါက္ကြဲသည္။
A tunnel was to be blasted through the mountains.
ဥမင္ကုိ ေတာင္တန္းေတြကုိျဖတ္သန္း ေဖာက္ခြဲျပဳလုပ္တယ္။

blaze= fire> မီးေလာင္ကၽြမ္းသည္။
Within minutes the whole building was blazing.
ခဏအတြင္းမွာ အေဆာက္အဦတစ္ခုလုံး ေလာင္ကၽြမ္းေနတယ္။

boost= incentive or encourage> မက္လုံး။ အားေပးသည္။
The theatre managed to boost its audiences by cutting ticket prices.
ကဇာတ္ဌာနက လက္မွတ္တန္ဖုိး ေလ်ာ့ခ်ၿပီး ပရိသတ္ေတြကုိ မက္လုံးေပးဖုိ႔ စီမံတယ္။

I tried to boost his ego by praising his cooking.
သူ႔ရဲ ႔အခ်က္အျပဳတ္ကုိ ခ်ီးက်ဴးၿပီး သူ႔စိတ္ဓါတ္ကုိ က်ေနာ္ အားေပးဖုိ႔ ႀကိဳးစားခဲ့တယ္။

boss or head= manager or director= မန္ေနဂ်ာ။ ဒါရုိက္တာ။

သူမဟာ အျပည္ျပည္ဆုိင္ရာ ကုမၸဏီႀကီးရဲ ႔ မန္ေနဂ်ာပါ။

clash= fight or dispute= တုိက္ခုိက္သည္။ အျငင္းပြါးသည္။

တကၠသိုလ္ငါးခုမွာ ဆႏၵျပပြဲမ်ားျဖစ္ၿပီးေနာက္ ေက်ာင္းသားေတြဟာ ရဲေတြနဲ႔ ရုန္းရင္းဆန္ခတ္ျဖစ္ၾကတယ္။
